another wonderful chapter....tony is doing a GREAT job with his NEW team...a team who seems to respect him as their leader and is willing to go along with whatever he wants....but, are also looking out for him as well. i cannot WAIT, until TEAM GIBBS sees TEAM DiNOZZO in action....maybe they'll learn something. keep it coming. alisa ps: i recommened your stories to someone, and they LOVE them.

(I'm re-reading this story because, well, its damn good. And I'm in the mood for stories where tony either by words or actions tells the others to stick it with their attitude). I like how Tony works through his reasons for leaving--at this point in show there wasn't much reason to stay even if you leave out the idea of he & Gibbs having been in a relationship. All these seasons later, how he was treated by Abby, McGee & Ziva annoys me. (of course ziva has only done worse stuff since IMO). The one good thing that came out was the quirky friendship he developed with Palmer, so nicely shown in the ep 'Bounce' but still wish we would get more. So I really appreciate that you've kept that tie to Palmer. The introduction to the new team and then hitting their first big case is really well done. I especially like the little quirks & nuances you use to create depth in the characters & relationships--the weird french movie, throwing things & now foam balls while meeting on cases, the way Miri answers questions. I like Miri a lot, and how it is through her it gets pointed out to Tony how he still reacts & is affected by how he was treated before. The campfire leads us through the case, and their thinking, with a very nice pacing. It never gets bogged down as happens often in fics that mix case with relationships. You juggle & treat both equally well.

Oh man, another bomb and the plot thickens. I love how well Tony is managing his team and the way he has them really working together. I love Tony - a lot. Thanks so much for another chapter. :) Anna
