WEDNESDAY

"ABBY!!" Gibbs yelled as he bolted into the lab. "Yes, Gibbs!" Abby replied, sensing he wasnt there to socialize, "Have you gotten those results from the husband yet?" her boss questioned. "Of course, why do you underestimate the powers of the magnificent Abby?". She smiled turned around and gave him a sheet of paper from a nearby machine. "And the winner is....drum roll please..." "Abby!" "...negative," she said, " but don't worry I also ran the boyfriends DNA, luckily his is NOT negative." Gibbs hit the table " You mean the one that we just let walk out of here?, damn it!". As he was running out of the lab, Abby called after him "Be nice, Gibbs!".

Gibbs rushed up to the rest of the team. "What up, Boss?" Tony asked. Gibbs "We have to go catch that bastard!" "What do you mean" Kate questioned, ", didnt we catch him?". Without giving her an answer he rushed out to a car. "Apparantly not" Tony said as they ran after him

Later that day & and after an exausting but succesful chase

"Kate, when are you and Tony going to tell everybody!" Abby asked her best friend, "You know DiNozzo as well as I do and he doesn't think Gibbs will take it well ," Kate replied "What are you two talking about?" said a voice coming from the door. They both turned to see McGee looking questioningly at them. "Oh hi McGee, we were just discussing how Tony and Kate haven't told Gibbs about them being engaged!" Abby said with an accusing tone, "KATE AND DINOZZO ARE ENGAGED?!" He shouted, "Who is engaged, Probie?" Gibbs asked walking into the room "Uhhh...Uhh..,"
McGee stammered. Thankfully, Kate came to the rescue "No one, Boss. Got to get going ," she said as she hit McGee going out of the room. "Just came down to say Good Job, Abs," Gibbs said after she was gone "Why thank you, Gibbs," she smiled. After a few minutes Gibbs left and Abby turned to McGee "So, McGee since I have no plans tonight, why don't me and you go out?" "I don't know, Abs, I planned on staying in tonight," he said as she began to look disapointed,"but maybe another night?" "Oh-kay, well I am going to head home," she replied, now in a more solemn tone than before. He watched as she left , Why the HELL did I do that?!! If I could just tell her how much I care about her

McGee turned off the monitor and sat at his desk for a while. What if this girl could be the one...who could she be?

Across town, Abby disconnected and called Kate. "Kate! I need to talk to you" "Whats the matter, Abs?" her friend asked groggily "You know that guy I have been chatting with ?" "Yea, that cybergeek guy?" "Thats the one, anyway
I am meeting him on FRIDAY!" "What?!?" "Thinks its too sudden?" "Ummm...Of course not" "Okay...by the way..when do you plan on telling Gibbs?" "Never" Tony said suddenly "TONY!!" both girl yelled "Dinozzo if you dont get off the phone, there won't be a wedding for you!" "Aww Kate you don't mean that.." "Dinozzo!" "Talk to you later and good luck with the geek" "Bye Tony, so Kate when are you going to break the news?" "Well..."

THURSDAY MORNING


"So your telling me that you & DINOZZO are getting married?!?" Gibbs shouted "I think that sums it up, Boss" Tony replied "We won't be gone long Gibbs.." "Dinozzo, you better take care of her!" "So I see you finally told him.." McGee said "You knew about this?" Gibbs asked "Aww you finally fessed up?" Abby questioned "SHE KNEW?" "Umm..I got to go.." Tony replied "Me too" Kate agreed and they both ran from the office.
