Kate: walking in Tony, that it so immature
Tony: It's a talent, Kate. Deal with it. Where have you been?
Kate: Why do you want to know?
Tony: Well, I do.
Kate: I need a reason
Tony: Why do you need a reason?
Kate: Why are you so obnoxious?
Tony: So, anyways, where were you?
Kate: (yelling) TONY, YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW!
Tony: Geeze, Kate, just asking.
(Silence)
Tony: Um, Kate, what are you doing tonight?
Kate: Nothing, Tony. Why do you care?
Tony: I was just wondering.. if..if...
Kate: Spit it out, DiNozzo
Tony: if... you wanted to go to the movies with me.
Kate: I have plans.
Tony: But...but... you just said...
Kate: Never mind what I said. I just realized I had plans.

Kate walks in. McGee and Tony are all ready there.
Kate: Morning.
Tony: Hey Kate! You're late.
Kate: Yeah Tony. So?
Tony: Well, you're not usually late. First you disappear for 5 days, then you're late. What is with you?
Kate: Tony, I really don't want to talk about it, can you drop the subject please.
Tony: Aww, but Kate-
Kate: Tony, I said DROP IT.
Tony: Fine, geeze Kate. But you know, if you talk about what's bothering you, it might help.
Kate: Tony, I said DROP IT. How long does it take your small, pea-sized brain to grasp that? I don't want to talk about it, and if I did, it wouldn't be with you. Now, I'm going to be in Abby's lab if you need me.
(She leaves.)
IN ABBY'S LAB:
Abby: Hey Kate! You're back! Did you have a nice time at your cousin's?
Kate: Abby, I don't want to talk about it.
Abby: Why not?
Kate: I just don't, OK? Why don't you all understand that? Tony's upstairs hounding me for information, and now you? I really don't want to talk about it, so could you all just please stop asking me?
Abby: OK, Kate. Sorry. But if you ever want to talk, I'm here.
Kate: I'll keep that in mind, Abs. Thanks.

Tony: What did you and Abby talk about?
Kate: None of your business Tony.
Tony: Kate, we're partners. We should share. Besides, you can trust me.
Kate:Irritated Tony, I've told you time and again I DO NOT want to talk about it!! I've told you to SHUT UP AND GET OFF MY BACK, but, since you certainly won't listen, I guess I have no choice. I went to my cousin's for some time. She just got divorced, and was on some dating site to find a new guy. We foud what seemed to be the perfect man, and invited him over. He...he was a murderer, Tony. He killed my cousin and attacked me. You see this? (Lifts up shirt to reveal a long scratch) I got it from him. Satisfied now, Tony?
Tony: I'm sorry, Kate.
Kate: Yeah? Ya think? Well, Tony, I hope you feel better. You got your information. I...I need to be alone for now.
Tony: Kate! Wait!
