Story Notes:
I had this song stuck in my head all day. I don't own it at all whatsoever. So don't sue me. I also don't own the characters
Author's Chapter Notes:
Tony is pondering Kates death to the words of Who You'd Be Today, by Kenny Chesney.
Sunny days seem to hurt the most
Wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
See your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can't believe your gone

I keep looking up, expecting to see you walking in, smiling…laughing…but you're gone. Forever.

It ain't fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowing, no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder, who you'd be today

You were young, so young. No one will ever replace you Kate. I miss you. If you were here, things would be different.

Would you see the world
Would you chase your dreams
Settle down with a family
I wonder what would you name your babies
Someday's the sky's so blue
I feel like I can talk to you
And I know it might sound crazy

What would you do, Kate? Maybe we could've had a life together…maybe. I know you're up there somewhere, but I'm down here and missing you.

It ain't fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowing, no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder, who you'd be today

You're gone and it's not fair, you had so much to live for. Life without you is hard. Why'd you have to leave me?

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
The only thing that gives me hope
Is I know,
I'll see you again someday

The sun can't shine without me seeing your face. The rain never hurt like this. Someday I'll see you again, but for now, I'm alone. All alone, without you.
