So far this is really good. You are showing Tony and Gibbs with the right amount of emotion. Not too stern and not too mushy. A lot of the stories either write the guys as men with little or no emotions and others make them so emotional you wouldn't know they were men. It is nice to see a slightly softer side to Gibbs, but still in character and even though Tony is obviously more emotional this is still within his character. I look forward to whatever else you have in store for them.

Tony is my favorite and I have come to really like the Gibbs/Dinozzo pairing whether it be a deep friendship or a relationship. This story-line has a lot of potential, but you are lacking depth. You need to add more detail to make the story more full. You make it sound like Tony is just balling his eyes out. I know he is really being hurt physically and I assume some of the tears are for Gibbs being hurt and the idea he may not see him again, but I don't think Tony would cry like that. He would at least be fighting the tears. He would want to be strong for Gibbs and the team and he would not want to give his torturer the satisfaction. Tony has been attacked before and hurt before. Sure it is natural to have some reaction, but I think you need to pull it back a little. Also the timeline seems rushed -- can't tell how much time has past, but it seems really fast. Again it may help to fill in some more details. Maybe even write a scene of Tony interacting with his kidnapper. Let us see into the mind of the bad guy and get a feeling for what Tony is going through. Tony always has faith in Gibbs and counts on him, but maybe he would be worried that this time Gibbs would be too late. Plus you Tony would not just sit there and take what this guy has to dish out. He would make at least one attempt to escape. How would he do it -- How far would he get before he is re-captured -- What would the consequences be??? As I said, you have a nice premise and a good beginning, not to mention some great characters to play with, you just need to flesh it out some more. As it is right now it is hard to feel anything -- you need to pull us into the story so we feel what these characters are going through and how they feel about each other. You have the imagination working and you know how to write so Good Luck -- Hope your write more soon.

This is a good start. I think it is cool that Tony made a connection with Gibb's Dad. I can't imagine what would make Tony do another undercover assignment for "The Director", especially behind his team's backs and most especially without telling Gibbs. Please write more soon. I am anxious to see how this unfolds. It is hard to believe that Tony would work undercover again -- especially secretly so I am really curious to see what Vance said or did to convince him to do it and what happened to hurt Tony and shoot-up his vehicle. I find the implied relationship between Tony and Jack to be interesting -- can't wait to see what happens now that Tony is in Stillwater and what Gibbs will do or say when he finds out. Love this so far. I think the father/son dynamic for Gibbs & Tony is very interesting. I don't get how Tony could be doing so much undercover and obviously getting ill without Gibbs noticing anything. I love that you are working all of the team into the story. I think NCIS has one of the best ensemble cast of characters and love to see them all interact -- for good or bad. The Doctor is an interesting addition. She sounds to be just Gibbs' type, but maybe he gets his taste from his father. There also seems to be a bit of interest between Tony and "Kate" too. Did you mention how old she is? I have been thoroughly captured by your story and can't wait for you to continue. As much as has been revealed there is so much more that is still unknown. I was not the least bit surprised that Vance and Tony's father were out to get Tony, but you caught me off guard with the Sec Nav's involvement -- I think I understand Eli David's involvement, but would like to hear it stated. This has been quite a roller coaster ride and I have hung on every bit of information as it has been revealed, but I have to say that it makes no sense at all that Dr. Marshall is on the Sec Nav's payroll as a "hitman". Why would she be in the small town of Stillwater? She would be placed somewhere in DC or the like so she would have access to more people that the Sec Nav would be associated with and might want eliminated. Even Gibbs did not know that Tony would head to Stillwater -- Vance and the Sec Nav were looking for him for days and did not know where he was until Tony called. Sorry, but that little bit makes no sense -- also Gibbs should have known not to leave Tony without protection -- the bad guys know where he is and there is an international contract on his life -- and Abby does not count. The rest is all quite intriguing and I hope you write more soon -- can't wait to find out what will happen next.

I love reading about a relationship between Tony and Jackson. There are quite a few fanfics that show some connection, which is great, but I remember the episode they met and there seemed to be a connection even on the show -- I wish they would have followed up with that. Not sure what I think of this -- hate to think of Tony so out of it he can't control his need for sex. Always interesting to find connections from different people -- it makes sense that Tony and Derek have met -- Spencer would be a bit more obscure. I understand going to Abby for help in finding information he needs, but I think it is irresponsible of Gibbs to involve McGee. This would be an extremely sensitive secret and one he should not risk getting out -- he promised to be discreet and within seconds is risking the secret getting out -- I'm disappointed with Gibbs.
