Aw, I kept hoping that Pete would give Tony the red ferarri, and so happy he did. And I just knew that Tony would kiss Gibbs at the end, the little pisser! Favorite part: Gibbs giving Sr. the look that said "He's mine now". Perfect. This was a very touching story, and I passed it over several times on LJ, because I thought it was just a story about young Tony/Gibbs, and wouldn't engage me. Boy was I wrong! Someone told me about this site, and I came here looking for a new story to read, and came across this fic again. Guess I was just meant to read it! Anyway, thankyou for a very entertaining, touching story.

This was my first ever Tony/Gibbs story...and I have to say I'm not a shipper, but this I loved..and will read again and again..WOW..very well written..

This is a really great story. I loved how you went back and forth between time periods. I was totally taken with the way you had Tony answer to "Andy?" in Gibbs' room after he had found out that it was Gibbs that had paid for his schooling. Overall I found this story a fantastic read. Well done.

Like all your other stories: Wonderful writing and an amazing plot

This story was such an odd thing to read: the bizarre duality of the relationship (past and present) between Gibbs and Tony was hard to take in at times, but I couldn't stop reading, for the life of me. You handled it all so well. Even when I thought it was getting a bit weird, I just couldn't stop reading. This was very well written, interactions between characters were superb (the Gibbs/Tony byplay through the entire thing was magnificent), and characterisations were heartwrenching and wonderful. Most of all, you wrote Gibbs perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that this story was pretty much just Gibbs and Tony - I like the other characters, but this worked so well with so much focus laid on them. All in all, this was an awesome piece of fanfiction.

Loved it! Absolutly amazing! The only suggestion I have is to cut it down into chapters for an easier read.
